It’s been a while. I didn’t think it would be quite this long when I decided to take a breath and step into the tornado that was the third lockdown.
But it was. I started the process of editing Book Two in the Thomas Angel Trilogy, Thomas Angel and the Clach Na Cait.
It’s been copy edited and proofread, and as I type this its being typeset, so the next time I see it, my manuscript will look like a book. And once more my little one, Thomas Angel, will take faltering pawsteps out into the world on his own. It will be scary, and at times he will feel frightened of what might happen, but his friends and loved ones will be with him, helping him along his path, towards his destiny, his future.
It seems in keeping with how our world is at this moment, we are all going forward into a new world, sometimes with confident steps, sometimes shuffling our paws, scared about what might happen, but we keep moving forward, just like Tom.
As Felix would tell Tom, ‘the power is within you, always remember that.’
